I'm New Here
We know that walking into a new church for the first time can be a bit daunting.
We try to do everything we can to make visitors feel really welcome. Our hope is that you’ll find us to be a warm, informal community of people who love Jesus and try to follow him.
Sunday services are a time when the whole church family comes together. So, coming to one of our services is the best way to get a full introduction to what we’re about. However, we know you might have some questions, so we've tried to answer a few common ones below.
Frequently Asked Questions...
What can I expect?
Do I need to dress up?

What about the kids?
You'll be greeted at the door by one of our church members. They can show you to a seat, or if there is someone you know, you can sit with them. Feel free to chat with those around you until the service begins. Our service of worship usually includes singing and prayers, as well as a Bible reading and a sermon. When the service is over there is lots more chatting, so please don't rush away.
Nope. We’re a very relaxed church family, so you can wear whatever you’re comfortable in. Most people will be wearing casual clothes: t-shirts, shirts etc. Some people wear a suit or jacket and tie. But there’s no dress code - just be yourself.
Generally, our service lasts between an hour and an hour and ten minutes. Sometimes it’s a little longer if it’s a special service like communion.
Children of all ages are welcome throughout our service. However, part-way through the service there is the option for primary school age children to head to Kidzone or children's church, which provides age-appropriate teaching for the boys and girls. They can then be collected from the hall complex again after the service finishes. Crèche is also available throughout the service for infants and toddlers - it can be found in a room off the main church foyer.
