Church Community
The are lots of 'word pictures' in the Bible to explain to us what the church is like. All of those pictures point to the significance and value of the church as a community - a family of families. Here are some of the key markers of our church community.
Inter-generational
One of the unique things about the church is the inter-generational aspect of the community. Newmills has members of all ages and stages - it's really special!
Welcoming
We're a community that is always excited when new people come amongst us. We strive to be welcoming and to make people feelgat home and at ease.
Caring
We strive to look out for one another and to care for each other. That can involve prayer, encouraging words, practical help, or biblical advice, amongst other things.
Authentic
We all have moments when we feel on top of the world, and moments when we really struggle. We strive to create an environment where you can be open and vulnerable.
